Album Artwork Shoot

Today we decided that the album artwork we choose was a good idea but was hard to do. I literally did my best as you can see in other blogs to try and find a pool from people's houses or just Lido's. It failed and let us come up with new ideas. We started brain storming and we came up with the idea of using a big industrial car park, keep the idea with shoes and reflection, but just do it with a puddle in the car park. 

Shooting Schedule

Above I have created a shooting schedule that Hannah has gave to us and also to our actors. This means that everyone will know what time they are supposed to be in certain places and where they are supposed to be. 

Chosen Idea

Lucas had the strongest idea that not was perfect for the genre but linked to the song without taking and ideas from our music video. As the song is called Without U and the artist in the picture is not present but the reflection proves he is. It is a really original and artistic. 

Feedback To All of Our Designs

This video shows us all showing each others work to one another and then giving the feedback.

THE REACTION TO MY COVER

When discussing the idea for the album cover that I had created the group said they really liked it, and it matched similar thing idea's that we had at the start for our artist to originally have his eyes all blacked out. I thought it was really cool and did not want to let it go. The main criticism was raised by Hannah and she said that a lot of artists use this all black eye contacts in music video's and artwork. For example Travis Scott.  They said the genre is very recognizably alternative (R&B) because it is quite out there. Lucas and Gustavo like how the cover would make our artist very mysterious which is one of our main aims.

My Album Cover Design

My Annotations :

• The album will be a photograph of the artists eyes but in photoshop I would then turn his eye ball black. 
• Under his eye he will have a cross tattoo.
• The background behind the eye is just his face as normal.
• The writing will be very straggly

This is our call list to make sure that we can contact all members of the group or our lead actors. It is really important that incase of any member not turning up on shoot day or any of the actors.
