We started this exercise in the studio with three different sets to use to make our short clip of shake it off. 

Wordpress VS Wix

When working with both of these softwares I realised that I like one very much and really disliked the other. Loved Wix, couldn't stand Wordpress. 

The way Wordpress is set up as more of a blogging website, which made it hard to manipulate pages, let alone it would not publish any of my posts that I wished. It was very confusing at times with trying to set up the design.

Wix however was much more simple when it came to making the design for the website was simple and I could manipulate anything on the page and other posts.

If I would have to choose it would definitely be Wix, with all the freedom that it gave me to design the site. Wordpress was too hard work out at times. 

Trying out Wix

Wix is by far an easier piece of technology

to use when making a website. It is so logical

in the way you are deigning. You can click and

adjust it almost anywhere. By being so much 

simpler to try out, I ended up making a better

home page for 'The Black Keys', being able to 

quickly colour it to their colour scheme.

I was able to place pictures efficiently on the 

site, and add a video and place it. Wix is so 

much better for the design of a website.

and has a star persona. This is exactly what 

Dyer talks about in his theory.

Trying out Wordpress

What Artist did I decide to use?

He is a rapper that I am a big fan of, I love his style and music.

I was able to design the websites cover and add pictures. I think it looked good for the artist.

The Actual Website? Pages? Text?

I was very confused about this part of the website. Every time I saved a new page that I edited it would save itself as a draft and then disappear, never coming up on the website. I know there will be a way around this, but for now I found it very annoying to work with. All the work I did would go missing and then I would have to do it repeatedly.
