Best Ways to Kill Someone Research

WOW....
The things you can find when you type that simply into google. My personal favorite is the first option '16 Steps To Kill Someone And Not Get Caught'. Surely, well I hope, if someone was thinking of murder they would not have this in their Viewing History.

Our Options

Immy's Outlook on the weapons

One of the most interesting methods of murder, in our opinion, was arsenic poisoning. We liked the fact that there were many different ways to dispense this, for example: slip it into the drink, put it in soup, mix it into the sauce on a food, (more unrealistically) bathe them in it burning their skin. This is a very effective method of murder which is virtually undetectable by the victim once dispensed, however it is very visible on an autopsy which may lead to police enquirers and a chance (possibly slim depending on the subtlety of it) of getting caught by the police

Then next weapon on our list is slightly more heavy duty. The fire-axe is a more no-nonsense approach to murdering a person as it does very simply get the job done. Taking a slightly more gruesome approach to the task at hand it is almost certain to be 100% affective. But, clearly there are big flaws in this method as it isn't very discrete and when using this method of murder there is a very high chance that you will be caught by the police.

Just the original kitchen knife, the go to weapon. It is easy, and is in every home. This is the thing though, I feel like we would have to have blood in it.

Rough Cut AS Opening Sequence.

With an hour to do this, us as a group were quite happy with how this went. It really explains our ideas.

The Actors

We picked two random actors to start processing our idea's. They were reasonably good to express our ideas. Our actors that we will pick were not in this age range with these actors, accept possibly the girl whom will be around the ages of 17-18. The man however will be a middle aged man. Looking at two young people demonstrating did make me question whether I wanted them both young, but with the Man character being older, it gives a much stronger sense of maturity in our story. Our rough shoot made us realize this.

Music?

This came together when I edited this rough cut, it gave a better essence to the scene, made it more daring with her dialogue. The blue's is so truthful and a powerful category of music, very emotional, so after using it here we have to decide if music is a further possibility in our Opening Sequence. The choices would have to be, as we discussed this in our group, will be between the blues and classical music. The question whether it will be diegetic or non-diegetic is still there.

Editing

For this, we used the simple and accessible iMovie. Throughout the editing process we noticed that the sequence was not exactly the way we designed our storyboard, but we would really like to stick to our original thoughts but also add things that we noticed in the rough cut. Such as there need's to be more shots of him eating, while she is thinking about him, so this show's her hatred for her 'husband'.

Our Narrative Events

This is what our group has got so far. I imagine that our idea's
will grow as we go on, our plans will grow.

Script?

We want Non-Diegetic sound. We want our main character to have her thoughts out loud on the screen. We want her thoughts to be out with the audience but not with the man who is about to
be killed.

Here is our script -

Rituals…

People these days are succumbed by rituals. These modern day arrangements, the ultimate bullet points to leading a normal and joyful, so they believe, LIFE.
Women thinking that they're miserable time on this earth listening to screaming little devils is all that worth it, making packed lunches, unattended roots. Men being…free.
Me however, I lead something different. I have only one plan at a time, simply taking all my focus. One subject needs my undivided attention.
Him. Oh you think I am thinking about love. No, no my dear listeners, I have no love for this man.
Only if he knew I was going to kill him.
It is not easy to plan a death you know.
Takes a lot of researching.

And of course a good few shopping trips.

Starting to think about our story board

Going over every shot was hard at first because we could only initially come up with 18 shots in total. We started sketching and creating our idea's on a piece of paper as our rough draft just to get our first idea's down on paper.

This draft, as it is our first has to be at least 4 to 6 pages. This is all a part of the process of our ideas producing.
